During our recent 3-night stay at this motel in Los Angeles, we had an excellent experience that exceeded our expectations. From its convenient location to the comfortable accommodations and friendly staff, everything contributed to a memorable and enjoyable stay. One of the standout features of this motel is its prime location. Situated very close to Griffith Park, we were able to explore the park on foot, taking in its natural beauty and attractions without the need for transportation. Additionally, the motel was surrounded by a variety of Asian restaurants, offering a diverse culinary experience. The presence of multiple stores in the area made it incredibly convenient for any shopping needs. The staff at the motel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were helpful in providing recommendations and ensuring our needs were met throughout our stay. The presence of a working laundry room was an added convenience, allowing us to freshen up our clothes during our extended visit. Despite its central location, the motel managed to provide a peaceful and comfortable environment. We were pleasantly surprised by the minimal noise disturbance, enabling us to relax and sleep soundly. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, and the beds offered a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring the city. Throughout our stay, we felt safe in the area. While there were occasional homeless individuals nearby, they never posed a threat or bothered anyone. The presence of convenient parking spots further added to the ease and convenience of our stay.

The property is very central it is virtually next door to the Metro and also has a bus stop outside. It is within walking distance of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The room was very clean with daily housekeeping. It had a bath as well as an overhead shower. The swimming pool is within a nice enclosure with pool towels. And the water was a nice temperature. The is also a supermarket opposite the Hotel which is very handy as it had a hot food counter. I had stayed at the hotel before and would return if in that area again. I would certainly recommend it.

The best hotel we stayed in in California (All 2 star hotels) Had a lot more to offer than the other basic rooms. Big rooms, big comfy beds, big TV (which we never used) Good sized bathroom. Air con that worked really well (otherwise the rooms are too warm to sleep in as we experienced in other hotels) Coffee maker that worked! The hotel is on Hollywood Boulevard for goodness sake so excellent location less than 5 min walk to the start of the Hollywood pavement stars. Pool was also open, which is a massive bonus, though we didn't have time to use it.

Location is amazing, 10 min walk from the walk of fame and right beside the subway station so very easy to get to. Also Within walking distance of the Griffith observatory trails. Pool area is great and feels very secure, although it is right beside a busy street the walls around it make it feel more calm than the craziness of Hollywood, would definitely recommend!

The room was really spacious, just a bit dark but that was of course also because as a classic motel, I was on the ground floor, which means you don't want to open the shades. The reception was friendly and uncomplicated, the parking great and the room clean.
